International Citizen Service East is open four days a week.

International Citizen Service East in Copenhagen

It is mandatory to book an appointment in advance before visiting ICS East in person. We kindly ask you to be on time for the appointment, so we can comply with the health authorities' guidelines on distance and number of persons per square meter. When visiting ICS in Copenhagen you must as of of October 2020 wear a facemask.

At ICS East in Gyldenløvesgade you can book an appointment for 

  • EU residence document
  • CPR-number (civil registration number) and Health Insurance Card 

Tax card need to be applied for online 


EU residence document

You can book an appointment during International Citizen Service's opening hours to submit an application to The Danish Agency for Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) that is represented at ICS in Gyldenløvesgade.

Please note that Non EU citizens who are applying for an EU residence document on basis of their EU spouse shall book an appointment at SIRI’s main office at Carl Jacobsens Vej.

CPR-number and Health Insurance Card

You can apply for a CPR-number (civil registration number) and Health Insurance Card at International House Copenhagen's website.

When the application is processed, you will receive an invitation letter to book a personal appointment at ICS East.
Please remember to bring the original documents you uploaded to the appointment 

Tax card

In order to get a Tax card you must apply online.

Residence and work permit for non EU/EEA/Swiss-citizen

Applications for a residence and work permit for non EU/EEA/Swiss citizen are handled only at the main office of The Danish Agency for Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) at Carl Jacobsens Vej. You can book an appointment to submit an application and have your biometric data recorded at SIRI.
