Please follow the steps below to register at the responsible authorities.

 

EU/EEA/Swiss citizens

First step:

Please book an appointment with SIRI (Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration) in order to obtain an EU residence document.

Second step:

When you have received your EU residence document from SIRI, please book an appointment with Odense Borgerservice on site at the SIRI office (Ipad solution) in order to obtain a Danish social security number (CPR) and health insurance card (yellow card).

A CPR-number and health insurance card can only be issued at ICS South if you are a resident in the municipality of Odense, Billund, Esbjerg, Fredericia, Faaborg-Midtfyn, Kerteminde, Kolding, Langeland, Middelfart, Nordfyn, Nyborg, Svendborg, Sønderborg, Varde, Vejle or Ærø.

Residents in other municipalities should apply for CPR number and health insurance card at the citizen centre where they reside.

Upon arrival at Odense Borgerservice please confirm your arrival by following the SMS you received or use the physical counter.

Odense Borgerservice (Citizen Service) is located at Østre Stationsvej 15, 5000 Odense C

 

Third step:

Please apply for your tax card online.
Apply for tax card at the Danish Customs & Tax Administration's website (new website)

Nordic or non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens:

If you reside in Odense please book an appointment with Odense Borgerservice (online at www.odense.dk) in order to obtain a Danish social security number (CPR) and health insurance card (yellow card).
Book an appointment for a civil registration number (CPR-number) and health insurance card (yellow card) at the Municipality of Odense (new window) - Choose "Entry to Denmark" at the appointment booking page.

If you reside elsewhere, please contact your local municipality for information on how to get registered.
