Global IT Manufacturing & Supply PLM
Global IT is responsible for IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S. With reference to the Group CFO, Global IT covers all areas from IT strategy, business engagement and requirements capturing to project implementations, infrastructure operations, service integration between vendors and end user support.

This position is in the PLM team. We are a strong team of experienced IT architects. We engage with business stakeholders to ensure that IT services are appropriately designed, developed and optimized across their lifecycle. External partners handle developments while we interact on the development activities to ensure quality in deliveries. We ensure continuous improvement and maximized utilization of running applications also in order to optimize value and reduce risk

Responsibilities
This role is for a person with extensive process and experience in PLM of engineering, manufacturing and service.

It will be an advantage with experience with

PTC suite - Windchill, Thingworx, Integrety etc.,
Material master data for manufacturing and service.
Bill of materials management including Engineering change management.
Revision management, traceability, equipment structures etc.
Integration between SAP and PLM systems.

You will be a trusted advisor to create target architectures and solutions within the PLM domain. Moreover, you will have a key role as a specialist in the definition and execution of the roadmap for PLM. We need to build an information and system landscape where product specifications and materials can be traced throughout the value chain, from design, through manufacturing to the as maintained information of the individual turbine.

That means you will:

Create roadmaps for future development and enhancement of IT products within PLM domain in close cooperation with business colleagues
Secure execution of Processes and Portfolio items as portfolio management, Priming & maturing of projects, Requirements Capturing, Assignment and QA of Work Packages to vendors etc.
Be responsible for performance of Business IT services/products (compared to agreed service levels) within own area

You should be strong in driving decisions across matrix management and possess a good understanding of business process mapping and business process management.

Last but not least, it is essential that you are proactive and a self-starter. You must be motivated by working in teams which consist of colleagues from all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

Master degree in Technology or Business Administration or experience which provide similar knowledge level.
Multiple years of experience working with IT strategy, roadmapping, and IT architecture design
Proven track record of designing and implementing IT solutions in the role of lead/solution architect.
Knowledge or experience with stakeholder engagement and manegement.
Experience from an international company with an outsourced IT environment.
Excellent communication skills and - Fluent in English both orally and written.

Competencies
Deep knowledge and experience with PTC Windchill applications/components

Good knowledge and understanding of SAP ERP and the interaction between ERP and PLM system.
