Do you have a technical background and do you have an eye for troubleshooting and test documentation? Then you might be our new technical supporter for our Land power segment, who must deliver good customer service in a team with extensive international customer contact.
You will be part of a support team, which in addition to providing technical support and service to our customers and global partners also have a key role in our product development. Your everyday life will be characterised by broad cooperation with colleagues inside and outside the department, and you are destined for a central role in the future of product development within controls for generator applications by performing user-oriented test as well as draw up technical documentation.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities are to:
- Provide technical support to our customers and partners globally according to our high standards for service and quality via phone, email, chat and service phone
- Testing of new and existing products as well as writing test documentation
- Evaluate and maintain test equipment
- Provide technical training to our customers and partners globally
- Conduct on-site services for our customers globally in terms of commissioning, troubleshooting, product tests, training, etc. (some travel activity to be expected)
You have a technical background, preferably within electricity, electronics, control- and regulation technology or similar. We do not expect you to have a long experience as we are going to train you in DEIF’s products and solutions. The most important thing is that you are willing to learn. Furthermore, we expect that you are an experienced IT user as well as proficient in English in speaking and writing.
As a person, you are a problem solver, and you have a flair for finding solutions to technical problems. You know how to organise and prioritise your tasks, and you are able to realise when the task is completed in the right quality. In addition, you use your impact to argue for your views in various cross-organisational projects.
