• International Citizen Service (ICS) – all the service you need in one place

    Welcome to Denmark! International Citizen Service (ICS) provides a seamless authority registration process, information and guidance about working and living in Denmark. Before heading to your closest ICS, please use following checklists to find out if your closest ICS can issue a CPR-number on behalf of the municipality you reside in and if you bring all the necessary documents with you.

    ICS Copenhagen: Closed on 30th and 31st May and 5th and 10th June. Closed for telephone inquiries on 4th, 17th and 18th June. No issurance of CPR numbers between noon and 3pm on 28th May.
    CPR-number and EU residence document in one process (EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens – except Nordic Citizens): Apply for a CPR-number online without attaching EU residence document – and at the same time book an EU residence document appointment approx. 2 weeks ahead.
    EU residence document: At ICS EU residence documents are issued Wednesdays and Thursdays for those who have booked an appointment in advance (62 appointments weekly). Book an EU residence document appointment at ICS. EU residence documents are also issued at the main office for SIRI (Danich Agency for International Recruitment and Integration) daily, Tuesday noon- 4.pm, other weekdays 8am-2pm. (Ellebjergvej 52, 2450 Copenhagen SV Google maps). You must book an appointment online to hand in application. Book an appointment at SIRI main office.
    CPR number: Apply for a CPR-number online.

    ICS Odense: Closed on 30th May and 5th June. Summer closed between 12th July - 6th August. Please note that SIRI in Odense is open as usual according to their normal opening hours during the whole period.

    ICS Aarhus: Closed on 30th and 31st May. Summer closed between 6th July and 31st July.
