Cleantech: Cleantech has been the fastest growing sector of Danish exports since 2010 and on top of that, almost 40 years of ambitious energy policies have put Denmark ahead in the renewable energy industry. Persistent governmental commitment to the clean energy transition means that the sector consists of companies in all sizes and on all steps of the complete value chain. The Danish government aims to make Denmark completely independent of fossil fuels by 2050.

Quantum technology: Denmark is home to a vibrant and innovative quantum ecosystem built on the legacy of Niels Bohr’s from the 1920's. Today, Denmark is still recognized as one of the main hubs in Europe for quantum technology, which is one of the reasons why The Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen will host a new NATO Center for Quantum technologies. Denmark not only offers an attractive environment to work collaboratively with excellent research institutions but also state-of-art facilities relevant to quantum technology development.
