Pension

The Danish pension system ensures your quality of life once you leave the workforce

In Denmark we have various types of pension schemes all to ensure that you and your family have a decent standard of living when you leave the labour market, whether you leave due to old age or disability. This means that you can regard your pension as an insurance product.

Most employees have a company pension or a collective pension as part of their employment contract. The Danish pension system allows you to receive a pension from multiple sources meaning that you will be able to receive e.g. both State Pension and company pension once you retire.
